2026 Annual Issuance

A year-long conceptual artwork examining how value is collectively formed.

The Bank of E.LEE is an ongoing conceptual artwork structured as a fictional financial institution. Each year, a limited number of Stakeholders enter a closed annual cycle in which monthly deposits are recorded and held, then converted into a single physical artwork at the end of the year.

The resulting works function as issued units within the institution, transforming symbolic representations of value into tangible form. The project makes visible something usually unseen: the trust, time, and shared belief that allow anything to hold value.

HOW THE 2026 ISSUANCE WORKS

• The 2026 issuance is capped at 100 total coins
• 16 Stakeholder positions have been filled
• Each Stakeholder commits to one full annual cycle
• Monthly deposits are automatic for the duration of the cycle
• At the end of the cycle, each Stakeholder receives one physical artwork

EACH STAKEHOLDER RECEIVES

• An official Receipt of Deposit upon first contribution
• A signed Certificate of Vested Stake at year’s end
• One original, coin-based artwork issued from the 2026 reserve

ENROLLMENT PERIOD

Enrollment for the 2026 issuance is January 1 through January 15 and is now officially closed.
